Marius Buning (Ph.D. European University Institute, 2013) is Associate Professor of Early Modern History at the University of Oslo, Norway. Previously, he has held fellowships at the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Studies, the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, and at the Dahlem Humanities Center of the Freie Universität Berlin. Since 2022, he is the PI of the ERC project.
